Whats The Ride Difference Between Fat Tires & Skinny Tires?
Fat tires provide more stability and have low tire pressure allowing the bike to grip rough surfaces better while also adding some cushion when you go over rough terrain.

Skinny tires are similar to what you see on the Tour d France.  High pressure and their main purpose is efficiency for easier pedaling and speed.

Will My Bike Have a Throttle So I don't Have to Pedal?
Soltera bikes do not come with a throttle from the manufacturer.

Aventure class bikes do have a throttle, but we remove the throttle if you are riding the Hiawatha trail so you're in compliance with their rules.

Are Soltera Bikes Allowed on The Hiawatha?
Yes - you will see road style bikes like the Soltera on the Hiawatha trail.

Keep in mind: Wet conditions make the trail more slippery for bikes without fat tires.  You'll want good balance and average to above average bike skills to ride the Hiawatha trail on a Soltera bike due to skinnier tires.  

Whats The Difference Between Step Through & Step Over?

* Top speed is adjusted to comply with trail regulations. On certain trails, speed is restricted to 15 mph.
* E-Bike throttles will be disconnected on certain trails for compliance reasons. The pedal assist will still work, however.
* The Spokehouse limits rider weight to 250 pounds for your safety and for proper bike function.
