Hiawatha

Route of the Hiawatha

The world-famous Route of the Hiawatha is a scenic 30 mile round-trip rail-to-trail ride, including 9 tunnels and 7 sky-high trestles. We can rent you a bike rack, or arrange to drop off and pick up your bikes at the Taft Area, or you can ride back to our shop in Wallace via Moon Pass, which adds a few miles and plenty of fun.

Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes

The Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes is a beautiful, flat, paved 73 mile rail trail that follows the old railway, and the Coeur D'Alene river, through the Silver Valley, Chain Lakes, Heyburn State Park and beyond. Almost crossing the entire state, it ends near the Montana border. Our shop is conveniently located along the trail in Wallace.

Silver Valley/Wallace

It's easy to enjoy scenic rides through the historic Silver Valley from our centrally located shop in Wallace. History, architecture, and nature buffs typically enjoy rides to Burke's abandoned ghost towns, to Mullan, the Northern Pacific rail trail, through the Silver Valley, or up Moon Pass for wildlife viewing & huckleberry picking.
